The FCT Secondary Education Board is under the Education Secretariat of the Federal Capital Territory Administration. It was established on 28th December, 2004 by the FCTA in line with the provision of the National Secondary Education Commission Decree No.47A of 1999. The FCT Secondary Education Board maintains a mutually beneficial liaison with relevant Professionals, Educations/Institutions/Bodies and Associations and reaches out to the General Public, Educational Institutions, Researchers, Students at all levels, School heads, Teachers, Parents, National Examination Council (NECO), West African Examination Council (WAEC)
To serve as a strategic vehicle for the provision and management of accessible & affordable education in FCT Public Senior Secondary Schools in line with the dictates of the National Policy on Education (NPE).
